Oliva del Rosario was born in the Philippines and raised in southern California. Her interest in capturing the images of the world around her began when she was given a camera at the age of ten. At a young age, she learned to adapt with ease to any surrounding, and possessed a natural interest in other cultures, which influenced her to begin traveling during her late teens. Once in a different locale, Oliva developed an eye for seizing the moment, by depicting the essence of the people and landscapes in the places that she visited. She continues to travel every year, exploring other countries, where she discovers and exposes the refined and raw beauty of humanity. Oliva also has experience in portrait and special event photography, and may be contacted for either.
